AMBER Airdrop is Here

We are ecstatic to announce that the AMBER airdrop will be taking place this Thursday (November 24, 2022).

Overview

The airdrop snapshot was taken at block height 4008888 (2022–06–24 21:31:42). All SCRT stakers who delegated a minimum of 44.44 SCRT with an eligible validator by block height 4008888 will receive 0.2 AMBER 🪂. Stakers who delegated a minimum of 44.44 SCRT with the AmberDAO validator by block height 4008888 will receive a bonus of 0.05 AMBER for a total airdrop amount of 0.25 AMBER 🚀.

Users will be able to claim their airdrop directly on the AmberDAO website (TBA closer to the airdrop date).

Stakers who delegated SCRT to the following ineligible validators will not receive an airdrop (as was outlined in previous announcements):

1. All 0% commission validators (at the time of the snapshot).
2. Exchange validators. This includes: Huobi, Kraken.
3. Corporate validators: This includes: Staked, Chorus One, B-Harvest, Figment, Outlier Ventures, HashQuark.

Breakdown of AMBER Supply at Launch

1. Airdrop: 5110.6 AMBER.
2. LP Incentives+Partnership Rewards Programs: 2888.6 AMBER.
3. Future Incentives: 888.8 AMBER.

There is a hard-capped max supply of 8888 AMBER. There will never be more than 8888 AMBER.

One AMBER Club

Accumulate and hold 1 AMBER to unlock a wide array of benefits. Users who hold a minimum of 1 AMBER will be eligible to participate in exclusive yield-earning opportunities that would not be available to them otherwise. Members of the One AMBER Club (OAC) will also be eligible for exclusive (free!) NFT mints (redeemable NFTs 👀 🤫). The OAC is a work in progress, and its future direction will be decided by its members. We are very excited to see this initiative in action.

Partnerships

The key to the success of AmberDAO is the widespread adoption of AMBER as a store-of-value and medium of exchange within the Secret Network ecosystem (and beyond). To make this happen, we have been busy securing partnerships with Secret Network dApp teams to create as much utility for AMBER as possible. We are very excited to share these partnerships with the community as they become official.

Airdrop Clawback

The airdrop window is 3 months (ending on February 24, 2023). Any unclaimed AMBER will be returned to the DAO for future partnerships and incentives to benefit the OAC.
