What is your salvation story? How did you get saved?
To be honest, I can’t exactly point to a date I can say was the day I received and believed the gospel’s message. But on the 18th of July 2014, I was under so much conviction from the Holy spirit at a meeting I attended in my then Uni fellowship (RCF FUTO). The conviction was so strong. It lasted for some hours. I remember standing from it and feeling so free. I knew my heart had changed. I can’t really remember what was preached in that meeting. Maybe my heart was already open to the gospel, but I wasn’t conscious of it. Perhaps that encounter opened my heart to the consciousness of it.
What experience grounded you in the Christian faith?
Honestly, I’ll always be grateful for my early days as a believer. My time in RCF FUTO really helped ground me. I was surrounded and inspired by young people who just wanted to serve the Lord. Writing this is so nostalgic. My fire started there. I was also introduced to Apostle Joshua Selman early. He taught on having a passion for God with so much fire and conviction. I got hooked. I also had a couple of spiritual moments that grounded me.
What has been your experience as a Believer so far?
Bruhh. Definitely not without the highs and lows. But I’ve experienced God. In many mind blowing ways. Brahh. I’ve learnt, unlearned and relearned. It has been a beautiful, beautiful experience. And I’ve met the best people ever on this journey. Saying yes to Jesus is the best decision I’ve ever made. God has been holding my hand. Glory.

What’s the one thing God has done for you that not many know about?
Hmmm. Some people talk about how I’m a light and there’s a positive energy around me. Tbh, that’s all God. He put His light and love in me. I just reflect it. I have my down moments, but the light always shines still. I am Grateful.
How would you describe your faith journey in 3 words?
Broken. Healed. Loved.
Who is God to you?
God is a loving father. My loving father. He is good. And very intentional about humanity. God is so loving. His heart is so so pure.
