ambr, Inc. planned and developed TOKYO GAME SHOW VR 2023, which will be held for the third consecutive year.
ambr, inc. (located in Bunkyo, CEO: Takuya Nishimura, hereafter “ambr”), the metaverse creative studio located in Tokyo, is pleased to announce that we have once again been appointed for planning and development for the “TOKYO GAME SHOW VR 2023” (hereinafter “TGSVR2023”), which will be the third time to be held.
This year, the event will be expanded to a week, allowing visitors to attend from September 21 to October 8. Moreover, it is available not only on PC and VR devices but also on smartphones.
About “TOKYO GAME SHOW VR 2023”
The Tokyo Game Show is one of the world’s largest game festivals. Last year’s TOKYO GAME SHOW VR 2022 was successfully held with 22 exhibitors and sponsors and many stakeholders co-creating.
Last year, the total number of visitors was 398,622, and the average stay time per user was about 33 minutes. In addition to more than 1,700 media exposures, the number of videos posted on YouTube exceeded 150 in total, both domestically and overseas.
The setting of TGSVR2023 is the “Games Islands”, a country of games floating in the sky. We plan to deliver a brand new Virtual Event Game Experience where you can enter the world of games and go around the game show as if you are on a journey.
In order to allow more people to enjoy the event, we will extend the duration by +1 week to 11 days and make it available on a smartphone.
At ambr, we have engaged in the desing, production, and development of TGSVR2023, following 2021 and 2022.
