Worth My Time
There are countless posts on the dangers of social media and “screens” in general. And most focus on how scrolling through snapshots of edited life can take toll on your security. There’s so much truth there, but what I find personally frustrating is the amount of time I find myself wasting.
Because money is tangible and wasting it is a repercussion we can immediately feel, our energy managing money or health can be starkly different than the amount of thought we put into stewarding our time.
It scares me thinking of the accumulated minutes I’ve spent mindlessly looking at screens, and that’s something I want to have more intention with — maybe as much intention I have with my money, health and relationships. And it’s pretty interesting how much all those things are correlated.
What valuable moments am I missing in exchange for mindless scrolling?
