Underneath the lake’s 290 square miles of surface area, a wide variety of game fish. They include catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, striped bass, and sunfish. Lake Mead has three fishing piers, and fishing is allowed 24 hours a day from a boat or watercraft. You must have a valid fishing license from either Nevada or Arizona.
