How to Join Polkadot Nomination Pools via Staking Dashboard
Nomination pools are one of the new key features to improve the staking system in the Polkadot ecosystem. The goal is to maximize the overall stake on the network. A nomination pool is viewed as a single nominator from the NPoS system point of view.
Nomination pools allow the operator of the pool to maximize the staking rewards for the users by distributing the stake among the optimal amount of validators.
If you would like us to handle reward claiming for you, make sure to leave 22 DOT on your wallet after joining the pool.
This guide assumes that the user already owns a Polkadot address, otherwise please find more information here.
Let’s join a pool!
Step 1 — Visit staking.polkadot.network
Visit the pools section of the staking dashboard directly by following the link below:
Step 2 — Select Pool
On the website, connect your wallet and select Join.
Filter for Amforc and click the Join button.
Enter the amount of DOT you would like to stake (remember to leave behind 22 DOT if you would like us to claim the rewards for you) and press Submit.
After signing and submitting the transaction, you have successfully joined the pool.
In the overview, you will see your bond in the pool.
