Amino’s Exclusive Auckland Launch 2018

Amino is excited to share a post-event report following its successful exclusive launch that was held on the 29th of August in Auckland, New Zealand. Prominent members of the Amino team as well as New Zealand technology, media, and business executives were present at the event. The key speakers all gave their insightful perspectives of Amino and their vision of the project going forward.
In case you missed the live-stream of the event, or want to re-watch it, then you can view it here.
Amino is on path to successfully launching its platform to users. Amino is continuing to inspire and educate the marketplace about its revolutionary infrastructure as well being impactful to the global community.
The speakers at the event included co-founders: Dr. Felix Xia and Michael O’Sullivan, advisory board members: Chris Linton and Murray Brewer, as well as New Zealand Member of Parliament — Raymond Huo.
Co-Founder Felix was the first to speak. He gave gratitude to Amino’s partners, team members, and most importantly — Amino’s community. Felix enticed the audience with Amino’s vision and plans of giving back to the New Zealand community. In his speech, he made an official announcement that “20% of funding (from Amino) is going to be contributed to innovation and research within universities and research institutes in New Zealand and we are very excited about it”. This philanthropic promise is congruent with Amino’s vision of upscaling commercialisation within New Zealand, to provide greater recognition to local innovation.

Co-founder Michael O’Sullivan graced the stage next and detailed Amino’s breakthrough infrastructure. His information-compacted talk addressed how Amino provides fundamental solutions for the present and future marketplace, through the meeting the needs of emerging markets such as AR/VR, autonomous driving and smart manufacturing. Details of Amino’s underlying technology and how the slave, master and super nodes interacted gave the audience a clearer understanding of the mechanics behind Amino. Michael also discussed the predictive and adaptable nature of the Amino OS, hence tailoring the computing network user with the most desirable results and delegations — eliminating misconceptions of the incentive mechanisms behind Amino. The in-depth engagement of Michael’s talk led to focused expressions within the audience as they absorbed as much knowledge as possible.

Amino was privileged to have guest speaker Raymond Huo — New Zealand Member of Parliament, also to come to speak at our launch. He discussed the current exporting environment of New Zealand on an international scale and how the NZ government has plans of increasing export figures from roughly 26% of national GDP 30% of national GDP. He affirmed his confidence of Amino being an essential role in reaching this goal as New Zealand is steadily shifting from traditional exporting ideologies to new age goods and services such as Amino’s computing network and stated that Amino “represents part of the future of goods and services”. Raymond views the positioning of Amino within the New Zealand marketplace as part of a powerful branding known as New Zealand Inc. He concluded by acknowledging that “IP commercialisation will be the key (part of New Zealand exportation). This is the reason why it is so exciting to share the launch here (at Duncan Cotterill).”

Next up, Amino’s advisory board member and partner of Grant Thornton, Murray Brewer, discussed the current involvement of blockchain within Grant Thornton on an international scale. The reputable accounting firm, which boasts approximately 50,000 employees worldwide, has 3 to 4 offices which heavily stress blockchain development. Murray expressed enthusiasm over the philanthropic future of Amino and stated that Grant Thornton would “strive to get a good New Zealand based philanthropic outcome for Amino.”

Chris Linton, a member of Amino’s advisory board as well as a committee member of The Blockchain Association of NZ, spoke about her pride of being impactful with Amino. She affirms that Amino’s harnessing of NZ technology will generate a stronger economic marketplace. She stated that Amino is a “robust blockchain based business that wants to have a long-term future and wants to create jobs in New Zealand and elsewhere and that chooses to harness New Zealand technology to grow the network and business”.

Following the presentations, the Amino team connected and established further rapport with the exclusive guests through networking. As a result, a more grounded insight of Amino and how it is going to positively impact New Zealand and international businesses inspired much of the attendees.
Our subsequent steps moving forward in terms of exclusive Amino meet-ups will be announced on our Telegram channel. The team at Amino are excited to expand the project’s industry connections and to provide further value to Amino’s global community.
