Amino Rewards is thrilled to unveil our upcoming web marketplace and mobile app, marking a pivotal moment in our quest to redefine user engagement. The new web marketplace offers an all-in-one solution for redeeming AMO points, shopping for lifestyle and tech products, purchasing electronic gift cards, and earning cash back at major retailers. Simultaneously, our mobile app incentivizes physical activity by rewarding users with AMO points and enables direct redemptions and shopping. With full marketplace functionality on both platforms, users will enjoy a unified and convenient experience, whether at home or on the move.
Recapping Our Journey Since Launch
Our journey began as a Move to Earn project, launching a basic mobile app for iOS and Android in 2023 that rewarded users with crypto for walking. However, as we evolved, we realized the importance of loyalty and sought to add more value to our users while positioning ourselves to generate revenue. We introduced the Catalog, allowing users to purchase Amino Rewards merchandise, tech, and lifestyle products, as well as the Shop, enabling users to earn cash back in crypto at hundreds of major retailers. Although we are proud to release working tech, we were disappointed with the results and the way our brand and vision were perceived. Yet, through perseverance and resilience, we’ve navigated these challenges, emerging stronger and wiser, and are now poised to redefine user engagement with our upcoming web marketplace and mobile app launch.
Despite the challenges we’ve faced, there are silver linings to be celebrated. Throughout our journey, we’ve grown a vast community of holders, including many prominent figures in the crypto space, who will continue to cheer us on and provide invaluable support. Furthermore, we’ve collected real user feedback, which will help deliver an enhanced and impactful user experience with our upcoming web marketplace and mobile app.
Improvements for the Future
- Transitioning Away from Crypto Rewards: While acknowledging the significance of crypto in the future of Amino Rewards, we recognize that having the loyalty currency itself as a cryptocurrency may have attracted the wrong type of users, scared away major retailers like Amazon and Walmart, and overcomplicated the program. The new Amino Rewards program will use a traditional point system that can be withdrawn and converted to crypto with a single click, making Amino Rewards modern and crypto-friendly. Additionally, we will accept crypto payment options in the marketplace and provide additional benefits within the program for $AMO token holders.
- Consolidating Brands and Domains: Reduce the number of individual brands and domains within Amino Rewards. Previously, various utilities were separated into different sites, causing confusion for users and making it difficult to describe Amino Rewards concisely. The new and improved Amino Rewards will feature a single marketplace at aminorewards.com, where users can access all redemption, shopping, and cashback features. Additionally, the Amino Rewards app will integrate fitness rewards and marketplace features directly, providing a seamless user experience.
- Enhanced Customer Journey Process: Revamp the customer journey process with a focus on excellence at every touchpoint. This includes improving communication regarding the status of orders, ensuring high-quality packaging upon delivery, and overall elevating the entire user experience to align with top-tier shopping brands.
- Global Shipping Options: Introduce global shipping options to cater to customers worldwide. By adding electronic gift cards as redemption options, we can provide a complete rewards experience for global customers. Additionally, all Amino Rewards Merchandise will be available for shipping worldwide. While lifestyle product shopping and cashback will initially focus on North America, there are plans to expand globally, ensuring there is something for everyone on the new release.
- Improving the Overall Quality of the App: Enhance the quality of the app to meet modern standards. Recognizing the importance of mobile-first experiences in today’s world, we acknowledge that the previous Amino Move app, while functional, was not world-class. Therefore, it’s imperative to have a top-tier mobile app with all the functionality of Amino Rewards. The new and improved Amino Rewards app will be faster, sleeker, and include comprehensive shopping functionality to provide users with an exceptional experience.

Temporary Marketplace Release and Roadmap Leading to September 8th
The interim marketplace to be released on June 10th will provide users with a glimpse of what’s to come. While it’s not yet newly designed or top-tier quality, it combines the Shop, Catalog, and introduces gift cards into one interface. During this phase, we will focus on offering weekly hot deals and selling tech and lifestyle products at amazing pricing. Our priority will be to monitor and collect user feedback, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the customer experience, particularly in terms of shipping tracking and delivery. In the lead-up to our official launch date on September 8th, you can expect increased activity on Twitter as we market the products available on the interim marketplace. Furthermore, we’ll be sharing many sneak peeks of the new app, providing you with a preview of the exciting features and improvements that await.
