We live in a world where money is the key to everything, where money is Power. Having money means having people’s respect and sympathy, it means having people’s love and friendliness. This phenomenon is not something new, it’s not a product of the 21st century, but it is something which is a part of the human nature. For those who are fond of literature and have read Great Expectations by Charles Dickens ( spoiler alert ) you probably noticed how everyone’s behaviour changed towards Pip as he recieved a fortune and was no longer a ‘ simple ‘ blacksmith, how people who hated him the most became the people who showed him the most of respect. So never forget to ask yourselves if people would treat you the same if you had nothing materialistic to share.
