Know It All
Be an educated, not a “Know It All”
Education, a mysterious entity which has altered the conception of the human living and lifestyle, no one knows when we started learning or started educating our selves. Historians, experts all must have their own notions regarding the theory of education, proving how it all started? How it was in the past and how it is in the present? We are born learners, and education does make us the strong in a way to stand alone in the cruelty of world which is served in our plate. It’s the education which quenches our thirst of becoming a “know it all”, leading us to the disasters which have their foundation in our path like milestones.
Earlier, people learned through their experiences, and experiences are still the best educators hence they traveled a lot, then we started learning through others’ experiences, then we started learning through books where many people’s experiences are united and now with technological advancements we learn through computers. Evolution intensified the need of education and education was the vital part which made us evolve day after day. It’s all education, the surge of the need of the education why we are in the position where we are now.
Evolving human is the most dangerous animal in the world, especially one who has strong yearning to be the “know it all”, we find newer ways and better ways to find things which do not disclose themselves. Now knowing things certainly brings you to the advantage, helping you get the power to change the way you live, make your life better, and if you get enough time then make others’ life better(Which certainly never happens). “Know it all” is the one that puts you on the epitome of power of becoming the God (term that lets you own the world).
To become a “Know it all”, you need to have education, you need to learn new things, better ways of doing things…So lets go back to the stone-age or even before that, somewhere on timeline, we learned that we can create our own food, so we started farming…we learned animals can be a good food, we started killing animals…we learned jealousy, hatred we started killing people…we learned that other land portions are better, we started invading countries…we learned about oil, we started wars…there would be no stopping for the list…this education about new things, started a seed of overpowering others which further build the foundation to innovations to subdue others.
To talk about history, learning things (first world war defeat reasons and cruelty against Germany) led to the Hitler’s invasion over the globe, cause he wanted better things for himself and for the country as well, others went gaga over him, and then the result is well known, atomic bombings…now there are many such examples in the past too and many such examples are in the current times too. Now it’s not Hitler’s fault, it’s the human behavior which wanted the revenge of things that he had learned, it was the urge Hitler felt which led to the World War II, the biggest massacre in the history till now.
Its not like it’s the fault of education, but education is the vital or moreover a catalyst in all that happens across the globe. It’s the urge of knowing things better than anyone else so that you can stand alone in the group that leads us to the education, and further to the destruction. Since the education is the whole reason behind all that bad happens in the world, shouldn’t we top the problem at its source? I sounded so much like a school student who hates going to school, and no…we can’t stop the source, as it also causes many good things that happen in the world.
If we stop education, we would go back to the score one, and there won’t be any difference between the street dog and a human. It’s the education that teaches us how we live today. Respect, love everything comes through it, we just need to kill the urge of being the god, urge of overpowering others, urge of being a “know it all”. If our ancestors did not have the first and foremost urge of being superior, then we wouldn’t be aware of the wars and killings at the first place. It’s not the education that’s the problem; it’s the urge within everybody to compete, to be better.
Being a “know it all” never hurts you, but make sure that in the process you shouldn’t be hurting anybody…cause that’s the way education should be, “know it all”, but “know it all in a better way”.
