Few months back I created BigBit standard Linked Bytes format. It basically helps to reduce the storage size of an Unicode. For example, if I save 💩 in UTF-8 then it takes 4 bytes ([240,159,146,169]). Same with UTF-16 ([61,216,169,220]). But in case of LB format it takes only 3 bytes ([169,233,7]).
As per turbo-http author “… there are some HTTP features missing…”. I didn’t find any documentation about missing features. I believe it doesn’t support HTTPS/HTTP2 too (2nd preference though). But still restana seems really fast. However, we’ll have to check other features supported by other frameworks as well.
