Uniquely yours, Mistake

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to undo things in life? We all go through a gamut of emotions and experiences, some of which bring regret, pain or shame. These bitter experiences subconsciously remain as our darkest baggage, and torment us when these memories are kindled by a stimulant either in us or outside. I have made many mistakes in my life which I wished, never happened. But these mistakes are what truly has made me for what I am today. Here is my take on embracing your setbacks.

A great batsman is adored for his signature shots, a business magnate for his strategic acumen, a scientist for his outstanding discovery and so on. You get the picture. What everyone sees in successful people is their outcome, nobody ever knows or want to know the number of times they might have failed or ended up with the wrong choices. Several bad strokes would have led the batsman to the right shot, many wrong choices and decisions would have made him the unrivaled businessman he is now, uncounted number of failed experiments would have let to the scientist’s discovery. Where success of many can be spoken/written collectively, one can never do that with their mistakes and failures.

What is of true value will remain concealed for there lies the power that brings out victory

This applies to most things we see in our lives, like a car’s engine. To enjoy a wonderful drive in your car, its engine is what is truly essential where it must get heated, work with a lot of tension and friction, and a million of parts to function in synchronization.

Success is a celebration while mistakes lay the bricks to your castle

Mistakes and failures in life are our driving force to get out and get what we want! It drives you to take another chance at life, to believe that you can swim against the tide and not be held by any fears. There are two paths that you can choose. One where you wear your experiences as a shield or another where you carry them as a heavy load on your back.
