Rachel Cargle’s call to be anti-racist is catching on

Rachel Cargle is an author, activist and educator. Her activist and academic work provide tools, and resources to support black people and to encourage white people to understand their power and privilege and take a good look at how they show up in the world.

Just a month ago she had 350k Instagram followers. Today she engages a community of over 1.8 million, guiding conversations, encouraging critical thinking and nurturing meaningful engagement with people all over the world.

She has created an online learning platform The Great Unlearn to both provide education and inspire meaningful action.

You can get a taste of it in this free document she createdto guide readers through gaining knowledge of various heartbreaking cases of police brutality and murder in the United States.

This document is to be used like a syllabi — an introduction to the work but not the work itself.

Value to the black community is not simply in the knowledge you gain but the action you take to ensure black bodies are protected.”

Read it, and see how it might impact the way you show up in the world.

To support Rachel’s work as a writer and activist you can join her Patreon community and donate to her non-profit The Loveland Foundation,
