Hardly. I’m advising you to read, so you might form your own opinions and judgments, based on something other than Internet idiocracy. For whatever reason, you seem highly resistant to the idea of this.

I say, “let’s talk about what’s been going on in the British Isles for the last 2000 years” and you say, “Shut up!”

It’s a curious response, I find. I will ask you again, why don’t you want to investigate that? To truly understand what’s going on in America today, you need to understand that history. At least that was what I was told at my very exclusive prep school where I was forced to study European history — for years.

And at the time, God, I thought it was excruciatingly boring. But now I get it. And George RR Martin makes it all so much more interesting via Game of Thrones (which is loosely based on European history.)

History is hardly a worldview, but it is a way to make sense of the world we inherited, from history.

Believe me, I’ve spent years around White Americans who know their history quite well, and are very proud of it. But then again, why wouldn’t they be? They’re on the wealthy side of European history.

If you’re not, I guess you might have some issues with it. But that’s all ego, and ultimately unimportant to me.

Most whites in the world, like most people in the world, don’t trace back to royalty. It doesn’t mean that they don’t have a history worth knowing.
