Should we survive that splash, we would be able to look down a 1000ft tall cliff where the bench broke off. It’s in front of our doorsteps.
Funny that You mention:
Helena Sophia Exel

Wow. I can’t imagine. This image, though, is incredibly apocalyptic, the volcanos, the wall of water, the break, as if you live at the edge of the world. That’s got to be some kind of energy! (No wonder you’re a quantum philosopher.)

And… here I was thinking I had problems just because since around 2008, the weather round here turned all box of chocolates. We never know what we’re going to get! Maybe 108 (misery!), maybe 30, (cold!), maybe 90 one day and 50 the next…maybe it changes that drastically in the course of a single day (WTF is happening?) I think Mother Nature is a little pissy, understandably, her human children are behaving terribly. As my son said, “The world? she is shaking. She might need a break.”

As for Hal and his kin, I was being facetious. I don’t think that humans are anywhere near creating artificial intelligence and sentience like what exists organically. And, it kind of begs the question, why are we trying to create something that’s already here? In vast abundance in fact? 7 billion strong at least.
