“Which one is the right phone for me?” This is the question that arises in your mind while choosing a phone. Dozens of phones come on the market every year. It is difficult to choose, right? In this article, I’ll tell you what to consider while choosing one.

It’s a good idea to consider what you want to do with your phone. Do you want it for photography, for gaming or to watch movies? Below are some key points you must have in your mind while selecting a good smartphone.

Affordable Price Range

The first thing which comes to your mind while choosing a phone is “Can I even afford it?” If you can afford a $500 or above phone then there are a huge number of good-quality phones on the market like iPhone or Samsung phones. But if your pocket doesn’t allow you then what?

Don’t worry, there are pretty good affordable company phones on the market with lower prices like Vivo, Huawei, or Oppo which you can buy in an affordable range of < $300.

Perfect Size of Phone

The size of your phone depends on how you wanna use it. If you need a phone which you can easily use with one hand or fits in your pocket easily, then a 5 inches screen phone is the right pick for you.

If you wanna watch Netflix or play games, then a small phone is not a good option. Screen size of more than 5.4 inches will be good enough for you. Nowadays, even small company smartphones have a large screen size but small screen phones are available too.

If you are a “photogenic person” then you must know how important it is to have a good affordable camera phone to capture the beauty. Camera quality doesn’t only depend on the lens size, it also depends on some other features like aperture, megapixels, image stabilization, etc.

The sensor of the camera lens also matters. Less megapixel camera with a good sensor will give you good results than a greater megapixel camera with a bad sensor. Some best camera affordable phones are iPhone 13 Pro Max, Pixel 6 Pro, Galaxy S22+, Vivo S1 Pro, Oppo F17 Pro, etc.

Operating System

The most common operating systems are iOS and Android. iOS mobiles are good for security purposes and Android has more range of applications and features. iOS phones have a disadvantage in that sharing with other company phones is restricted in some ways.

However, android is the most used operating system amongst other companies. Companies like Samsung, Huawei, Vivo, etc used Android as OS. Android phones usually have a monthly update for some of their features or applications.

Battery Life

Battery life is very important when selecting a good smartphone. Phones having a 10+ hrs battery life are good to pick. Nowadays even small companies declare to have a good battery life phone. Small phones may lack this many battery hours because of their compact size. Battery life of 4500mAH and above last for about 14+ hours.

Speed

If you are a person who uses multiple apps at the same time then you must know how important the speed of the phone must be. “Greater RAM means high speed”. Processors like A15 Bionic, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1, Dimensity 9000, etc are the fastest processors used in the best smartphones.

Also, the storage of mobile phones must be bigger so that your mobile doesn’t lag. 16 GB storage is now rip off. Nowadays, you must have 32 GB storage on your mobile so that more apps and documentation can be stored.

Mobile Service

Lastly, mobile service in your area is a must thing that you need to keep in mind. Most of the best smartphones have a 4G mobile service but 5G has also revolutionized the market by which you can even download a complete Netflix series in a matter of minutes.

5G has not made its way throughout the world and most countries lack this service. Companies like Apple are providing 5G in their devices and soon 5G will be the future.

Conclusion

Choosing a phone when there are so many different options, might confuse you. You must be aware of how much budget you have, the reason for buying the phone, its specs, battery life, and features. An expensive phone might attract you but if it doesn’t provide you with your purpose afterward, then it’s of no use.

So, if you are going to buy a new best phone for yourself, remember these points in your mind. Do tell me in the comments which phone you are going to choose?
