AMO Team Attends OmniAir Motor City Plugfest

Hi everyone! Today we’re excited to share with you about our experience attending the OmniAir Motor City Plugfest.

Last week, AMO’s Head of Business Development Jaeson Yoo and automotive engineers JungWook Kim and SangWon Seo flew over to Michigan to attend the OmniAir Motor City Plugfest held from May 7 to 11. Hosted by quality and security solution provider Intertek, the event brought together automobile security experts for device test sessions, policy workshops, and insightful conversations with the goal of ensuring security and interoperability of V2X device communications.

The event was organized by OmniAir Consortium, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for connected vehicles.

On May 7, Jaeson Yoo had the opportunity to share about his expertise in security during a productive panel discussion on V2X cybersecurity alongside representatives from U.S. Department of Transportation, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, NXP, and Integrity Security Services.

AMO team members also participated in the Multiple Security & Cert Sources Interoperability & Conformance session on May 9 to carry out comprehensive testing on AutoCrypt PKI, one of the core technologies supporting AMO. The technology was originally released under AMO’s parent company and event sponsor Penta Security Systems.

We are looking forward to future events by OmniAir Consortium and other opportunities to advocate for secure V2X communications!
