Up here in the northern reaches of New York — near Canada — the non-winter is transient.

In order to make it seem longer, locals can often be heard singing these songs about summer.

Okay, no one actually does that.

But hypothetically speaking, if they did, this would be the playlist.

(To keep the chronological lineup manageable, all song titles had to include the word summer.)
