Feeding the Feline Friend

You want to pick a cat food that is nutritious for your kitten/cat. Many of the cat food nowadays has lots of artificial ingredients and preservatives. I recommend any organic brand that lists NO artificial stuff in it. For kittens, there is a separate food made specifically for kittens. So, DO NOT FEED YOUR KITTEN ADULT CAT FOOD. Kittens need lots of nutrients while they are still young, just like infants do!

I know what you are thinking…what about human food?! It may be difficult to turn away the cat’s cute begging faces but some of the food we eat is toxic for cats. COOKED meats (deli-meats, fish, chicken, etc.), whole grains, cheese, eggs, and vegetables are the best bet. On the other hand, DO NOT feed them chocolate, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, alcohol, and some specific things. If you want to learn more I suggest asking your friend Google or your trusted veterinarian.

Enjoy my lovely pictures of our new friend Jeff.
