Stop asking design candidates to redesign your product. It’s unfair and (worse) it’s ineffective.

Great article. I fully agree with you, although I suppose from an employer point of view it makes total sense. We are building a peer to peer recruitment process called TalenQuest where the core of it from a candidate perspective are feedback, benchmarking and learning. Our tests are telling that we are on the right track and candidates tell us that what we are doing is fantastic. We’ll see in the end how it plays out, but I 100% agree with your great article. The working together bit is awesome, although many hiring managers might not have all that time to spare.
