In Rev. Fr. Franklin F. Beltran’s homily, he pointed out that the mass celebration coincides with the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, emphasizing that it is also a day to celebrate the compassion and strength of Mary.

Prof. Patricia M. Empleo, the college dean, advised the candidates on the importance of continuous exploration and learning in their pursuit of success in the field of accountancy.

She also urged the candidates to take their time and to study diligently, as there is no such thing as perfection in exams.

“Hiling lang po naming lahat sana ay lahat kayo ay pumasa,” she stated, expressing the support and prayers of the academic community for the takers. She encouraged the candidates to alleviate their worries to Our Lady of Sorrows, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey.

The UST - Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants and the UST Accountancy Alumni Association also extended their support by providing pencils and meals to LECPA takers, respectively.

Meanwhile, aspiring CPA Jaimell Lim spoke about the stress and sleepless nights she endured while studying for her exams. She highlighted the value of prayer and faith in obtaining the fortitude to endure.

Another hopeful, Andrei Geronimo, conveyed his joy now that the conclusion is in sight despite his rising nervousness as the tests draw nearer.

Empleo’s message concluded on a reassuring note, saying, “Relax, put your worries away. We are confident that you will ace the CPALE.”

Since its inception, the UST-AMV COA prides itself on producing consistent board topnotchers and some of the finest CPAs in the Philippines. The candidates for the LECPA will put their knowledge and skills to the test from September 30 to October 2, hoping to join the prestigious ranks of AMV’s graduates.
