INT. PARK — DAY
A shaking, bloody hand pulls a phone from a pocket. Dials 9–1–1.
DISPATCHER (O.S.): 9–1–1, what’s your emergency?
CALLER (O.S.): A murder.
INT. CALL CENTER — DAY
The dispatcher’s fingers fly across a keyboard.
DISPATCHER (O.S.): Are you in Overlook Park?
CALLER (O.S.): Yes.
PARK
Feet stagger and a body falls to the ground.
DISPATCHER (O.S): Help is on the way. Who’s the victim?
CALLER (O.S.): Me.
A beat.
DISPATCHER (O.S.): What happened?
Silence.
DISPATCHER (O.S.): Who hurt you?
CALLER (O.S.): I didn’t see…I don’t know why…
The bloody hand drops the phone. SIRENS blare in the distance.
DISPATCHER (O.S.): Hello? Are you there?
A large boot CRUSHES the phone and walks away.
FADE TO BLACK
