I think you mis-read my comment. The “rage” against “liberals” has zero to do with policy, as I mentioned in my comment. On this we agree.

I did notice a bit of condescension and demonization creeping into your reply. This gets a little bit closer to the problem. Example: “ Is it that you think we shouldn’t help innocent people in other countries who are being tortured and killed by their governments? Okay, so maybe we disagree on that.” You have already assumed that I do not want to help people in other countries. Nope. I send thousands of dollars to other countries, and I work extensively with NGOs in Africa and also internationally. I guarantee that I have done more to help hurting people in other countries than you have. For years it was an unpaid, full time job. And I also was privy to meeting with Hillary’s State Department and I saw exactly how she was destabilizing countries and engaging in egregious cultural imperialism against those I was trying to help. My colleagues in Africa literally danced and sang in the streets when she lost. So this is just a single example. I do strongly support the Trump travel ban, but you immediately assume it is because of the most morally reprehensible reason — I don’t want to help people in other countries. And you don’t even know me. I am even married to someone from a developing country…so…no. This is an example of how you see my opinion on a matter of policy and assume I am morally inferior.

I am happy you understand that we have commonality, though. That is the first step in the right direction.
