Dag 5

Well today was the first real-ish day of school. (The photo was the only one I took today and it is just my schedule, super boring but it’s real)We started our specific program orientation today. I’m looking forward to learning a lot about biotech here in “medicon valley”. In other news, I commuted for the first time alone today and a drunk man was being really obnoxious and a little frightening on the 7:18 am train. Everyone just kept ignoring him. He came up to me and said “I…. Am the best man in Copenhagen”. I just stared at him and thankfully he smiled and walked away. So that was a good first commute alone. Anyway, after school today I went on a lovely run because my hamstring wasn’t feeling so bad today (ooohh maybe the stretches are working). Denmark is perfect for running because it is super flat and there are horses and cows near where I live and there is a really cool path that the trees curl over and make a tunnel. The run mad me so happy and when I got back I took Delta (the family dog) for a walk. Delta is hilarious. She acts like she wants to walk but then out of the blue she will just lie down and refuse to move. But then when she sees Jesper or Lise she will get up and sprint to them. I’ve been around a lot of dogs but Delta actually makes my heart melt. After the walk I did homework haha back to the old grind, and then we had dinner. Lise makes such great food. She made zoodles (zucchini noodles) tonight. Then girls from a homestay near by came over with their host mom to plan Sunday’s homestay network events. We came up with the least cringy ice breakers that we could think of. Then Jesper told us all that they would all be away Saturday so we will have to cook for ourselves. We are all excited to cook a meal together! Looking forward to the weekend!

Danish word of the day: kat=cat
