So you want to save that gorgeous Bing wallpaper? Here’s how.

If you are reading this, you have probably already discovered that “one does not simply walk into Mordor"—oh, no, that’s from The Lord of the Rings, Boromir, I believe. I meant to say that one does not simply click the right mouse button on the picture and save it. If you do, you get “Bing.html”. You don’t want that. It’s just a link back to the Bing homepage.

Here’s how to save the Bing wallpaper. Hey, it’s easy—well, it’s fairly easy, and it’s legal.

Go to the Bing homepage. Right-click your mouse to get this dialog box (pictured below). Click on “View page source”.

The “page source” will look like a lot of gibberish to most people, but don’t let that dissuade you.

Open up a search box by pressing control F (find). See the picture below. Type “jpg” in the box, but do not hit enter. Just type “jpg” and wait.

The first “jpg” picture will have a highlight. If you notice that you found the second “jpg”…
