Feels like the middle — I’d love to keep reading. I’ve been going no makeup for several months now and what began as laziness has become a conscious rebellion. I like your defining principle of only wearing makeup if it’s an occasion where everyone does. My principle has so far been the basic labor aspect — it surely is a disadvantage for a woman to have to spend ten to sixty minutes extra just to be equally acceptable as a man rolling out of bed, who can put that time to other uses.
