I was giving this an open minded read, but now it has crossed over into pure fantasy. A person on Medicaid who can’t scrounge up $80 on the spot definitely isn’t going to be able to put $80 in an HSA, even over time. What a shocking lack of understanding of what poverty is like. She probably should also stop buying iPhones every year and sell some of that gold jewelry she wears when she shops for shrimp and steak on food stamps, eh?
“Poor people’s health problems would be solved if could only they start HSAs!” Let them eat cake.
