Applying for the Facebook TPM Internship

I applied to the Facebook TPM internship via referral on their Careers website around October 2020. I emailed the job application link to an alumni of my university who was gracious enough to refer me internally. I’d always recommend sourcing a referral from a friend/alumni if you have the capacity to, but it’s definitely not mandatory. (I’ve gotten interviews and offers by cold applying to APM programs so it’s possible!) If you want updates on when APM apps for every company are open, theapmlist.com is a great resource.

Now, there’s two types of Facebook TPM roles you can apply for: product or infra. The nature of the work differs in the sense that infra TPMs have the engineering team and data team as their core stakeholders, while as a product TPM your stakeholders end up being the legal and marketing teams.
