I can’t tell if this comment is earnest or sarcastic because the internet! If it’s earnest, I disagree. Legal folks need help solving problems for users and balancing the business needs just like everyone else. They often say a thing and people take them literally and that’s how we end up with unreadable terms and bonkers disclaimers. Generally, legal folks are super amenable to working with UX people to find a solution that’s balanced, but it requires people to understand legal goals and work with them on a good outcome.
Too many bad experiences exist because people don’t engage legal!
