In a property/owner relationship, property doesn’t have the right to consent (or the privilege to say no). Lack of consent, lack of ability to say no is rape, not matter how much you try to romanticize this particular “relationship”.

Part of the problem here is that you think rape looks a certain way. It happens in a dark place, by masked assailants, wielding knives and ropes. It looks violent and involves blood. In actuality, the vast majority of rapes that happen to women are committed by people they know, often men who think they’re “the good guys”. This doesn’t make it any less rape-y or abhorrent.
