Exactly, Dan. The willingness to notice and then go “huh” is far more empowering than most people realize. The “huh” provides a pause in which we not only encounter our sanity, but also our divinity. That’s the jackpot. Our relationship with ourselves becomes non-judgmental, if only for a moment. In this moment you may be lucky enough to slip into the space between your thoughts … you might call this “spontaneous meditation.” Now, as you say, life will happen the way it wants to, but your attitude will be profoundly altered … or should I say altared ;-)
