A few thoughts: “extreme humility” strikes me as an oxymoron.

Merriam-Webster defines humility as “freedom from pride or arrogance.” You’re either free of pride and arrogance, when you forgive, or not. If not, you haven’t really forgiven. See How to Truly Apologize.

As far as character goes, Robert Stolorow in Psychology Today says, “Character is one’s emotional world.” I think you meant “integrity.”
