Power BI

Nowadays, data visualization and analysis is an extremely crucial and beneficial tasks in any organization.

Hence, learning a proper tool that includes the above functionality is important.

In this case, I would recommend you use Power BI.

If you want to change your career from non-technical background to a tech then also this technology/tool/course is very useful.

Introduction

What is Power BI?

If you want to take any business-related decision based on some company’s data (detailed information) in excel or any non-visualization tool then it is not possible to analyze data properly.

Data visualization tool converts that information into Graphs, charts, pie charts, maps, etc.

So, Power BI is a visualization tool that helps us create imaginative reports for Business decisions.

After creating a particular report, it will then be sent to Management and then they will take proper managerial or financial decisions.

Now, as we know which tool will help us in reaching our goal however one question remains unanswered and that is: How do we learn this tool? What is the road map to learning this tool?

Please read more for a successful road map of Power BI…

It is very important to understand that NOTHING COMES easily. You have to work in certain ways to complete what you want. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance are the most important aspects of your SUCCESS.

If I keep it real, either you need to have basic knowledge of the components that are there or you need to start from scratch to learn something. That means in any way you have to do it.

1. Skills.

2. Company.

3. Who should do this?

4. Can we move forward with this knowledge?

5. Where can you learn?

1. What skills we will need to learn Power BI?

-> You should have basic MS Excel knowledge.

-> Knowing data modelling strategies will also help.

-> MS SQL basic knowledge (links mentioned below)

-> Now, that you know the basics you can learn Power BI from Udemy. (I have mentioned the link below)

2. Which companies will hire a power BI developer?

-> Even a non-tech person can also learn this tool.

4. What are the future opportunities?

-> Once you have learned/made yourself completely experienced in making designs/dashboards/visualization then you can opt for data analysis, data engineering or even machine learning.

A river of knowledge will continually flow in your mind. It never stops and you should not let this stop as well.

You must be wondering, we agree with whatever you have mentioned here but where should we learn all this stuff?

Don’t worry! I have an answer to this question also.
