Comprehensive Data Science learning path for 2017
We launched learning paths on Analytics Vidhya in 2015 and they were instant success — not just with in our community, but even for people outside the community. And it was for a good reason.
If you are looking to up-skill yourself, the challenge is not to find content / tutorials / trainings in today’s world. The challenge is that you find too many of them. A search on Google for “How to become a data scientist?” throws up 6 million results. Add a few more results on tools and techniques and you are in for similar results.
For a beginner / people making a transition — this would be intimidating and overwhelming. How do you find your way? Whose advice do you trust? Which resources do you follow?
This is exactly why we creating learning paths and plans. This year, we have made these learning plans even more specific. For ease of use, we have created learning plans for 3 different types of people:
- Beginners / Freshers in Analytics
- People transitioning in Analytics
- People with intermediate knowledge in Analytics
All you need to do it check out which kind of learner are you and then follow the steps laid out in the path. We have done all the hard work of structuring the path, identifying the best resources and the exercises so that you focus only on learning.
