Scientists Reveal the Risks of Using Vegetable Oils

New preliminary findings discussed the risks of using vegetable oils popular in cooking; they explained that during heating, those oils produce toxic compounds connected with serious diseases. Here are the key findings:

  1. High Aldehyde Levels: Specifically, the investigators discovered that the compounds in vegetable oils, increase significantly in quantity when the oils are heated, and these compounds are related to cancer, heart diseases and dementia.

2. Safer Alternatives: The same fried foods prepared in olive oil, butter or coconut oil emit significantly lower levels of these toxic compounds.

3. Expert Opinions: Martin Grootveld, a lecturer from De Montfort University, and the Oxford Professor, Stein, explain how the consumption of vegetable oils, especially soy oil, is a major villain, and the cause of a broad range of ailments, including brain deterioration.

4. Practical Advice: No frying in vegetable oils and oils that may be used in cooking as this puts ones health in a great danger of getting diseases. For this reason, it is better to learn that boiling is a better choice than frying or baking — although baking is better than boiling — and try to replace dangerous fats such as coconut oil with healthier fats.

To improve their kind of life diet, the best way is to adopt the safer cooking oils instead of the unhealthier ones such as those in processed foods.

Make sure to pass this significant knowledge to friends and loved ones to support better choices and lifestyles.
