  • to educate young pupil about responsible relationship of man to animals
  • to increase local community awareness and reduce the problem on local and national level
  • to make schools network at national level with the same goal and through cooperation with European schools draw parallel to European level
  • contact local shelters and establish cooperation (mentors)
  • present a project idea at the national and international level with the aim of finding / disseminating project partners and creating national school network (mentors)
  • organize an ambassadorial school corner where the contents of the project on the school level will be presented (mentors)
  • students will register on on-line platforms (eTwinning), meet each other and establish cooperation with project partners
  • students will design the logo (during Art lessons or through one of Web 2.0 tools) and choose them jointly (eg Dotstorming)
  • students will visit and gain insight into the work of local shelters
  • students will present local shelters (eg Visme) and mapped theirs locations (eg ZeeMaps)
  • students will, based on visits to local shelters and insight into situation in local community, formulate a question/argument to be debated with project partners (eg Tricider)
  • workshops-theme: Pet (what pets are, how animals became pets, the pet’s behavior ..)
  • students will make a puzzle game from photograph of them and their pets for project partners (eg Jigsaw Puzzles)
  • visit to the local radio station — presentation of work, open call for school networking
  • presentation of work and work results (eg Lino)
  • workshops — theme: Relationship between man and animal (how to get in touch with an animal, the basics of dressing, reacting in “crisis” situations, abandonment situations ..)
  • students will make a comic strip about pet leaving situations and project partners have to crate a new ending (eg Make Beliefs Comics)
  • presentation of work and work results (eg Lino)
  • workshops — theme: Variety of pets (breeds, grouping breeds with specific types eg working, dangerous ..)
  • students will collaborate making mind map about themes (eg Mindmeister)
  • pet exhibit in school
  • visit local tv network— presentation of work, open call for school networking
  • presentation of work and work outcomes (eg Lino)
  • students will make thematic book / story play (eg Storyjumper)
  • students will organize a humanitarian action to raise funds for local shelters
  • presentation of work and work outcomes (eg Lino)
  • students will think and act as responsible persons aware of their actions directly affecting other living beings
  • students will recognize and acknowledge as engaging local community members capable of acting for the common good
  • students will build the solidarity of their personality through the help of a local shelter
  • students will develop collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking and use of ICT technology through planned work methods
  • local shelter will have the promotional and material benefit of the cooperation
  • local community awareness and networking at the national level will have a long-term impact on reducing the problem at the local and national level
