Dear Scott,
My grandpa died from colon cancer, 4th stage. However, it was in 20 years after being diagnosed (30 or 35). My mom told me that he was in love with life which was probably the major reason for such a long battle. He passed lots of surgeries, chemotherapies, diets, but did his best to raise his children and invest in their future. He saw the marriages of his children and met two grandchildren. I really believe…no, I know you will win this battle if you aim at the victory. Try not to be absorbed in the world of medicine when it is possible. Surely, this year will be hard, but do not forget about the other life (your beautiful wife, children, hobbies). What is more, my grandpa was treated in Russia 25 years ago. Now, in your country, agree, you have even more chances to succeed.
P.S. Be strong. Be in love
