What’s New?

Candidates can take NEET 3 times until his 25 years of age for General and 30 years of age for reserved Categories. Hence, NEET 2018 will be considered as 1 attempt for the Candidates.

A notice will be issued to the Students who have completed 3 NEET attempts prior to NEET 2018.

As per the Order by Honorable Supreme court, NEET Exam is compulsory for MBBS/ BDS Courses in India since 2017. The admissions for MBBS or BDS will be filled with NEET exam Score only (Except AIIMS& JIPMER).

NEET Exam can be written in several languages including English, tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia and Marathi.

The candidates must have Aadhaar Card issued by UIDAI. While filling the NEET application form, the candidates are asked to enter their Aadhaar Number, Name, DOB and gender which will be verified with UIDAI’s data. In case of Information mismatch, the candidates will not be able to fill the NEET Application further. Therefore, Aspirants are asked to ensure that their Aadhaar card has reliable information as per the School records. If there is mismatch, the candidates must update it immediately either in Aadhaar data or school data.

NEET Exam pattern

For the Courses: MBBS and BDS

Mode of Exam: Offline (Paper based test)

No. of Questions: 180 MCQs

Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany

Duration: 3 hours

Marking Scheme: 4 marks for every correct answer

Negative Marking: 1 Mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer

Tips to Crack NEET 2018

Be confident to make a note on all the Exam prerequisites like NEET Exam Syllabus, Curriculum, Time and distribution of Marks. This will assist you to get a brief Idea about the vital concepts of NEET accordingly.

The foremost rule to crack the Exam is to understand the Strength and Weakness. In case of NEET, make a note on important formulae and Equations while preparing. This will help you to take a Review whenever it is necessary.

Make a study plan, Prioritize the Exam Topics based on your Interest and study them. It is recommended to give an honest attempt to learn and understand the vital Science concepts.
