Snakes and music
Blogging has been eluding me for a while now. I tried blogger and Wordpress, but I loose interest half way through. For some reason I always felt writing has to be intellectual with fluent portrayal of English grammar and words. Well, f$&k it! I am going unconventional and make mistakes.
Anyway I came across a few street musicians this evening and I was quiet impressed by their numbers. The lengths they go to sustain a steady income and provide for themselves made me realize how cruel the world is. I grew up learning good and bad sides, prayer and god looking after the good guy, but everything I learned fell apart through my experiences. I want to believe there is good in this world and deserving people get rewarded.
I live in Toronto and the downtown area during weekend evenings have a lot of surprises to offer. Yesterday I saw a lady with a python around her neck. I am not comfortable around snakes and I saw a few kids so enthusiastically playing around with the coiled wonder. Pythons remind me of anaconda I watched as a kid. The movie gave me so many sleepless nights as a kid. I remember one story that my mother used to say. I was a little boy and I was visiting my paternal grandparents. They have a farm house in the middle of nowhere. I was sleeping in one of the rooms and I felt something cold crawling inside my blanket. I got startled screaming for mommy and they came running into the room. When they removed the blanket, they saw a big ass snake. I was kinda small to remember the whole situation, but thinking about it gave me chills. Enough with my snake stories, I love such weird encounters.
