As a writer I observe and notice things.

I tell stories with the intended purpose of encapsulating a reader so he/she can connect with me and find out something about themselves they didn’t know existed.

There is nothing else in the world that I find more purposeful than writing.

If you’re a writer then you know what I mean.

When we die our written words will live forever.

Writing makes me feel alive, it’s what gets me out of bed in the morning.

The entire world is full of possibility because we are the recorders of history.

Whether your writing is in marketing, technology, mindfulness, food, fashion, etc..what matters is how you tell stories and build relationships with others.

Through global connection with mediums like the internet, we live in a world of constant interruption — but the writers of the past and present day cripple the status quo to help others see what was in-front of them all along.

Write what will be read today and 10 years from now. Write content that is as evergreen as the Redwoods of Muir.

My observation might seem dramatic albeit abstract, but if you’re a passionate writer then you know exactly what I mean.

So today I say — WRITE. Write like your life depended on it. Write as if each word is gasping for its last breath of air.

Write because you have no choice.
