Expressing Love, The Beatles way
This is dedicated to some one very special. She is the one who introduced The Beatles to me. I was sitting next to her hoping to convey what had been hidden so long between us . I knew this 10 minutes medley of Beatles would give a whole new meaning to all the abstract talks that we had so far in our journey together as friends. I had the song on my mobile, connected the earphones and asked my best friend to listen to it.
Here we were on a late evening on a Sunday, sitting facing the sea in a restaurant. The song started playing.. I started pouring down my emotions through the words of Beatles.
I wanted some one to listen to my story, the story of virtual chains that kept me tied up so long. The chains hid the truth that I have got a feeling for her. On that day I decided to break these chains and shout whether she wanted to know a secret. The secret “I’m in love with you” which I strongly believed would be mutual. Still, there was a little fear of disappointment and I kept telling her inside my head, not to let me down. Her moist eyes made me smile. I knew she realized that if I needed some one to love it would be her, my best friend. Loving her would be the natural thing to do for me and I was sure to fall in love with her for the rest of my life. Any time at all in her life if she needed a shoulder to cry, it would be mine and I will be here, there and everywhere for her. Even when I am sixty four, I would want to hold her hands. She would have left by this time the next day, and I was supposed to move out of country in few weeks to come. Sure I will miss her when I am away but I wanted to tell her I would be true and will be sending all my loving to her. And finally P.S — I love you, just to make sure that she heard me right throughout the song.
