Importance of Balanced diet for school students

What do the school students neglect the most? - A balanced diet. But why do we hate it? Well, we don’t hate it but we like junk food the most, maybe due to the tempting TV ads on junk food.

A balanced diet is important for many reasons. First and most important, it helps us to concentrate on our studies and gives us the energy to work all day. Second, it increases our height and gives us the nutrients which we need all day. Research shows that students who eat a balanced diet are healthy, active, well-behaved, and Bright. It is a must for teenagers as what they will eat in this stage will help them throughout their life and nowadays it is necessary for all of us to fight against COVID-19.

A balanced diet should include milk, pulses, yogurt, lots of fruits, etc. Those who prefer non-vegetarian can have eggs, fish meat, chicken (as per their choice). Parents and teachers can also motivate children by introducing variety in homemade food and telling them the benefits of eating a balanced diet, proper exercise, etc. I am not saying that we should not eat junk food, we should but once in a while occasionally.

Remember a nutritious diet is a foundation of a happy life!
