Coherent stratagem for Research Paper

Research, not how many pages we wrote or how many cites we got, is the process in which a person satisfies the curiosity of that specified topic in a novel manner, not happened before. Greek scientist Martin Stone connotes it in a mind-boggling way, stating that it is a process intended to create new or improved technology that can provide a competitive advantage at the business, industry, or national level. While the rewards can be very high, the process of technological innovation is complex and risky.

The Research Process

There are a variety of approaches to research in any field of investigation, irrespective of whether it is applied research or basic research. Each research study will be unique in some ways because of the particular time, setting, environment, and place it is being undertaken.

First, the researcher goes through all previous findings on that particular topic, and based on personal knowledge finds the lacking problems in the previous research that leads to finding the following path for your research area. Following this, design the research question and try to be on the same question in the whole research paper. After that, answer prepare one flowchart of how the research will perform

Keeping in mind the readership, identifies the different journals, eg, Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, science direct, and different websites for data aggregation. Followed by the basis of the design methodology performs different data cleaning and data transformation. Finally, by and data reduction. find the similarities, trends, findings, applications, and future recommendations and ends with the recapitulation.

Software used: apart from simple directories used Mendeley reference manager, if the size of paper is more than 50 used latex, in place of ms word

𝟏. 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫: Based on reading the abstract, a reader decides whether or not to read your paper. Give it your best shot. Write it first. It will help you envision the whole paper in your mind. In the end, refine it. Some researchers have an opposite view, though.

𝟐. 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: First, make sure that your research is significantly novel and is making a contribution. Then, make sure that you highlight them right away. Don’t keep these two somewhere hidden in the paper.

𝟑. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: The introduction section gives you enough room to build a solid story. This is where you can strongly engage the reader and walk him through parts like — what has been done, why it was done, how it was done, and what’s its significance.

𝟒. 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: As an author, here you reflect on the findings — what is good/bad about it. Write about what are the implications of this research for practitioners and other researchers. Who will benefit from these results? What key lesson can be learned from this work, and so on?

𝟓. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬: Before writing your paper, select 2–3 exemplar papers that can refer you. Put them in front of yourself while writing the paper. Refer to them as and when needed.

𝟔. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲: You might have done significant research. However, you also need to communicate it in the right way so that others benefit from it. Paper is the way to communicate. Present your research so well that readers can easily understand and apply it.

𝟕. 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬/𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐬/𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬: A picture is worth a thousand words. Wherever possible, present your content in a visual form via figures, etc. Reading too much text in one go overwhelms the reader.

𝟖. 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰: Make sure there are no jumps in the paper. Write so smoothly that the reader easily walks through the whole paper. Each sentence should be connected with the previous one. Each paragraph should speak from where the previous was left.

𝟗. 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: It’s simply difficult for a reader to read long sentences. You don’t want to confuse the reader. Rather, you want to make the reader understand your work. So, why complicate it using long sentences? Keep the sentences short.

𝟏𝟎. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲: It turns off the reader/reviewer to come across typos and grammar mistakes. Thoroughly proofread your paper before submission. You can use software like Grammarly for removing typos and grammar errors.
