Several points. Jesus was not a refugee. He was in self-imposed exile in Egypt as directed by God, but he was born in Israel, and returned. A minor point regarding skin color. He was semetic and whether he tended to be dark complected or fair skin is subject to speculation. I am from the same ancestry and am fair complected while my siblings have olive complections.

If you believe, as I do, that all scripture is God breathed then there are many admonitions against the practice of homosexuality in scripture, not homosexuality itself.

To relate todays heath care to the purpose of Jesus’ healing is nonsensical on so many levels.

And as far as translations are concerned, read several, while some of the words are different, there are rare occasions when the context even remotely changes.
