Am I a bad Catholic if I don’t agree with everything the pope says?

So sorry to hear of your hurtful experiences. You sound like a very nice, caring, thoughtful person. It sounds like you are well grounded. I haven’t had those same experiences, but I am Catholic. In my 20's I still believed, but didn’t go to mass. Probably because it was hypocritical due to my life choices. After college I started again and for the most part, go every Sunday. I too have strong positive feelings about Pope Francis. I’ve worried about the political divide caused by the buffoon and by Mrs. Clinton’s ongoing problems. Many Catholics I know are voting for the buffoon because they think he will appoint conservative justices that will reverse the abortion laws, plus they they think Hillary is a habitual liar and part of the political establishment. Personally I will vote for her, but I would have preferred Bernie. Back on topic, I’ve been worried about voting for her because she doesn’t really seem too Christian and is very pro-abortion. I don’t thing the government should be involved. I am against it, it’s killing…plain and simple. But to repeal the law would cause more harm than good. So, I went to my priest and had a chat. We talked about quite a few topics, gay marriage, abortion, who to vote for, trying to persuade people to become Catholic, etc. His feelings were very close to mine. The bottom line was be the best you can be and people will see and admire you for that and then make their own choices. Everyone’s life is full of problems, everyone has issues that form their decisions. God knows what going on. God knows your heart. Worry about your own conscience not anyone else’s. Be true to God and you’ll be ok. I I walked away with a comforting feeling. I’ll vote for Hillary and I’ll hope for the best. The buffoon will only lead us to ruin. These are my humble opinions, hahaha.
