From a distance, Khloe Crimando appears as the everyday college student, armed with a laptop, notebook and a comfortable over-sized sweatshirt to stay comfy through extensive studio courses.

However, one thing that people do not see in Khloe’s physical appearance is her dedication to art, as well as her passion in spreading the importance of the historical and cultural aspects of individuals and their works.

Growing up in a small town, Crimando had little exposure to art. Hopatcong High School, located in Hopatcong, New Jersey, offered a mere two courses overall in art. Upon graduation, Crimando enrolled at Montclair State University, in Montclair, New Jersey, to pursue her degree in fashion design and studies. Through her one and only semester at Montclair State, Crimando was enrolled in an Art History course, which left not only a heavy impact on her future education, but opened her eyes to the world of art.

Crimando eventually moved back home to study general education requirements at her local community college, and eventually transferred to William Patterson University, in Wayne, New Jersey, to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History. Today, Crimando is enrolled in her second to last semester at William Patterson, with hopes to reveibe her degree in May of 2018.

In her future, Crimando hopes to be a leading art curator at any major art museum in New York City. Crimando states:

“It is my objective to help others understand the world they live in through access to the arts, and it is my perspective that art education should be available to everyone.”
