Thanks so much for your comment, Paul. It’s funny you should mention the short term vs long term tasks! My colleague has been working with our content team (whose tasks are almost all reactive and have same-day deadlines) on a similar scheme to help prioritisation and visibility. He intends to write a “part 2” to this post focussed more on that kind of work — so watch out for that.

As for our website user experience and analytics — we already do a quite a lot of insights work behind the scenes, but actually making changes is proving slower than we’d like! Hence trying to move forward incrementally with Scrum. We’re gearing up our team with more resources and better tools over the next year!
