I have two simple ways to assist you on this issue, that can boost your reach and engagement immensely for you.

First off, we need to understand that our time management has everything to do with this. Just like you set time aside for meetings, emails, calls, and networking; you need to set time aside for content creation and your content bucket.

Decide on one day out of the week and any where between 6–9 hours to this task. This is an amazing amount of time for you to create tons of content. You can write over 300 tweets, create over 42 Instagram post’s, 7 blogs, and how ever many Facebook post’s you’d like.

The reason why these numbers may seem extremely high is because:

  • Facebook adds 500,000 new users every day
  • 500 million people visit Twitter each month
  • 300 hours of video are uploaded to Youtube every minute
  • There are 400 million Monthly Active Users on Instagram

You need to stay relevant!

Well first thing you need to do is go download a social media management software. You can use an app called buffer or an app called hootsuite. You will want to sign — up on a computer, so you can easily edit items and make adjustments easily. A phone may have limited capabilities when coming to these task’s. The cost can range from FREE to over $99 monthly, depending on how many accounts you have. For a starter you can stick with the basic plan and grow into an advanced plan, depending on your use.

“What do these apps even do for me Andie?”

These apps will give you the capabilities of automating your social media. You can focus on your engagement on social media. Now you’ve shifted the focus from posting on Social Media to engaging with your followers and building valuable relationships. Rather than having to be on your phone 6 hours a day, thinking about what to post you can focus on growing your community with people that care and want to know more about you.

This is the importance of having a Social Media Management Software.

“Andie, But you still haven’t explained to me what a content bucket is.”

In the simplest form, imagine a bucket full of content. All your tweets, all your Instagram post’s, all your youtube videos, all your Facebook post’s, is in this bucket.
