
The myth behind the law of attraction for the workplace…
Everyone would agree that we are constantly being distracted at work with social media posts, annoying colleagues and perhaps deadlines to complete for work.
Our focus and attention is always being distracted by various occurrences that are sometimes beyond our control.
What scares me the most are people taking advantage of these turbulent times regarding our current country situation particularly the decline of the economy, the shortages of jobs and the increase of unemployment.
It is really unbelievable how all of a sudden so called professional experts are coming out of nowhere and now charging companies and individuals for consultation fees, setting up conferences to attend and have even starting to act as psychologists despite not even studying it.
The real worry is there are too many working South Africans becoming dependent on someone else for their own fulfillment and career potential to reach.

As much as I am a big believer of the relationship between the mind and body such as the law of attraction but it is as far it goes because staring and talking to yourself in the mirror to hope for better days is not really going to solve your problems.
There are countless positive minded people at work yet receive no raise, promotion and recognition for their job.
I bet you thinking of someone right now..
The truth is the law of attraction, consulting with a psychologist or reading positive books is all good and all but ONLY YOU CAN CHANGE yourself and situation at work by TAKING ACTION.
As a young person I feel too many people are too dependent on their education as a way to advance their careers but reality always backlashes that ideology.
Never solely depend on your education but always fully depend on your actions.
By taking massive action at work such as doing things that others will not do and having the willingness to grow by far increases your value at work thus simultaneously fulfills your potential and that is when you become conscious of your state of purpose and happiness.
But the way happiness is not static you earn it every day by doing more and seeking things that fulfill you as a working being.
These so called professionals that you go to and pay for personal and work problems come and go only you can help yourself by investing in yourself through training and taking action.
Warren Buffet (Top 5 richest man in the world) states:
Your greatest liability is not knowing but the greatest investment you can make is investing in yourself.
Lesson of this article, you do not want to be fairly paid at work you want to be overly paid and the only way that can happen is to provide more value, taking responsibility and action than anyone else in your job role.
