Yes, you are right about the increasing the local culture, a kind of immune response. It is just that there is still to be born that teacher who will teach people how to free their identities from the need of validation. Until then local economy, small capitalism, amateur art will succumb to constructed communication defining social wide role models and ideals.

Politics does slow down things only when you know what to do. Unfortunately, so far, the progressive agenda is pretty much a call for returning to basics and I don’t believe it. Entropy moves in one direction and trying to reverse the whole thing is, in my opinion, doomed to fail. In fact this is the only problem with this otherwise great story.
